A top-tier European data centre delivery specialist is expanding its commissioning team for a major hyperscale project in Sweden. Known for delivering some of the largest and most technically complex facilities across Europe, this contractor offers stability, long-term work, and the chance to grow your commissioning career on world-class projects.
 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer who wants to work with cutting-edge technology, structured programmes, and a highly professional team delivering high-value MEP systems.
 

The Role

  • Drive all electrical commissioning activities across multiple packages
  • Ensure vendors deliver to scope, standards, and programme milestones
  • Monitor progress and report commissioning status weekly
  • Support or attend factory tests (FATs / FWTs) for electrical systems
  • Manage daily commissioning coordination with internal teams & vendors
  • Track and review all commissioning documentation and approvals
  • Witness and sign off testing in line with approved procedures
  • Support energisation and safe systems of work with the AP/QA teams
  • Manage tagging, tracking, and sign-off for all commissioning works
  • Lead day-to-day commissioning operations on a live data centre build

Ideal Background

  • Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or Electrical Trade qualification
  • 5+ years commissioning experience in construction or industrial projects
  • Strong technical experience on LV/MV/HV systems
  • Background in data centres, pharma, or large industrial builds
  • Strong documentation, testing, and verification skills
  • Confident communicator who can coordinate multiple vendors
  • Safety-focused and process-driven
